Conditions which, must bo observed by those . competing: — A.—The subject to be Lord Kelson and The Battle of Trafcdgar. B.—The comprttiOTi to bo open to boys and girls attending schools or colleges in the North Canterbury District. C.—Length of essay not to exceed 2000 words. D.—All essays to be neatly and plainly written or typewritten on foolscap, and to be endorsed with the name, address and school of competitor.
