KAIAPOI BOROUGH COUNCIL.
The- Kaiapoi Borough. CounciU met on Taewiay. Present— OChe Mayor (Mr Daly), tirs. Blackivell, Midgl«y, Bngg, Pearce, Eagle, and Keetley:. The Upper Ashburton Road Board wrote tl»at a shingle reserve had been made on the ConnciVs land. It was decided to institute further enquiries m the matter. The request of the Borough School Committee for use of grass-outter woe agreed to. It waa decided that the condition of the traffic .bridge should be examined. The receipts were £58 7s 9d, and overdraft £27 6s Aα- Account* (inclutive of interest and loan sinking fund) amounting to £114 7s 5d were pawed for payment.
