FARMERS UNION.

A meeting of the Springston branch of the Farmers , Union was ■ held in tne Springeton sdbooliKwm, Mr Jno. Lawry, chaiiman, of the branch, presiding. About thirty farmers were present. The meeting was called for the purpose of hearing Mr Lowrte, who had kindly consented to deliver an address to the branch, the subject being "Rotation of Crops." At the conclusion of the address Mr Lowrie answered » number of questions, and, on vie motion of Mr M. F. Ryan, seconded by Mr J. T. Blnkemore, he was accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
