The results of the polls on the Greater Christen urch propoeaik were: — In the City—For tiie proposal, 1028; against the proposal, 72. In St. Albany—For the proposal, 436; against the proposal, 238. In Linwood—For tne proposal, 690; against tihe .proposal, 145. The form in which the vote was taken in St. Albans and Linwood makes amalgamation depend on Sydenham deciding to join the city. The Sydenham poll on the proposals will be token on February 4th. ■
