REPORTED DISCOVERY OF "SLEEPING SICKNESS" MICROBES. United Ptms Association —By Eleotrio Telegraph—Copyright. (Received January 22nd, 9.2 a.m.) LONDON, January 21. The "Daily Chronicle" states that Castellane, an Italian doctor in Uganda, claims to have discovered the microbe of the sleeping sickness. Sleeping sickness is a mysterious malady thai annually accounts for a very largj number of deaths in Uganda and other parts of Africa. Some time ago a Commission was despatched from Europe to investigate the disease.
