BULL IN A FOOTBALL FIELD.
A football match in which one side wore red had not long been in progress at Finney Gardens, Hanley, England, recently, when a bull graaing in a neighbouring field became annoyed, presumably at the display of colour. Breaking through the fence, the a___t_i charged -traig-t for tihe redclad player., whom he scattered in all diroctooine. It then o__se_ the spectators up and down the fi_d, of which it was soon in sole and undisputed possession. Toe bull _-tt.d_tno_s_ed the corner flags. This done, no colour remained, and the beast* regaining its normal calm, permitted rteelf to be driven from the field.
