(SI'ECIAL TO "THE PKES3.") GREYMOUTH, January 21. The returns for the current week are likely to be very good. The Blackwater Lagoons Company is showing a decided improvement, and the prospects are now considered to be good. The Red Jacks Company's dredge is beingwell cleared around, and it is anticipated it will be afloat in a couple of days. It is not thought to have «ustained much injury. The report fr«a the Mount. Paparoa, Company's -lino shows that the stone is still soaking, and is of an excellent character. Tho manager docs not care to say much about the matter till the first crushing, which will be a ccuple of months from now.
