SHOOTING ACCIDENT AT ASHBURTON.
A young man named Robert Dear, ft recent arrival from Victoria, was admitted into the Ashhurton Hospital on Mimc'ay night, suffering from a. revolver shot wound in the thigh. He stated tliat while unpacking hie swag the cidentaJly discharged, the bullet penetrn-t ting the thigh. A rather dangerous wound waa inflicted.
