THEATRE ROYAL

The Theatre was crowded to excess last night, when "If I Were King" was repeated. Mr Hastings was ■enthusiastically received* in his powerftil and artistic impersonation of Francois Villon. Mins Chevalier, as Katherine, and Miss Lane, as Hugiette, were equally .as successful as on the first night, and their efforts were much appreciated by the audience. Ali the ether chai act-era were satisfactorily filled. and the piece went splendidly throughout. To-night it will be agaii! played, when the season will close.
