On the occasjon* of hie viaite to Chriatchurch Mr Wbeeler made hosts of friends, and his work in connection with the Tournament wae carried on with such efficiency that there was no hitch or trouble whatever. He has a worthy successor in Mr Stewart, who takes to the secretarial duties as to the manner born. He is ably assisted by Mr Hopcrof t, who on former occasions hue rendered good service. The caretaker of the Chrietchurch green is entitled to credit for the admirable state in which he has got tihe green for the tournament. In order to get through the work as early as possible it has been decided that play shall be continuous on both greene, no adjournment being made for lunch.
