A special meeting of the CSty Council •was held last night to confirm the ord«r . made re the taking of a poll on the question of Greater Ohrietchurch. There w*re present ihe Mayor (presiding), 'Crs. Gray, Sanroele, Taylor, Maodonald Morris. : Payling, and Smith. The Mayor explained that the 'business wan t&e confirmation of tb» (resolution passed by the Council that a poll of the citizens be held on the 22nd in«t.
