Tliree months' bills are discounted at 3| per cent. Baak shares:—Bank of New South Waks 4 per cents., £103. The rest are unchanged. The cold spell has hardened the wheat markets, especialy the Continental markets, and cargoes are firm. A California January shipment sold nt 31s. Copper—On spot, £53 per ton; three months, £53 5s per ton- Tin—On spot, £129 2s 6d per ton; three months, £129 ?s 6d per ton. lion, £2 13s 10d per ton. Lead. £11 8» 9d p?r ton. Sugar—First marks, 9s sd; German, 8s 2d. At. Bradford the wool market is brisk. Common sixties 24d, supers 25d, super 40's 13Jd, common lOiclButter is tiat- ColoDia.; butter is at 10is to 106s per cwt, and Danish 107 ato 108s per cwt. Cheese is firm, New Zealand cheese realising 61s to 62s per cwt. Silver, Is SJd per ounce.
