A committee meeting of the Canterbury Jockey Club was held on Tuesday. Jones, and jockey Thomas Edwsrds; aim th* pony The Imp, owned by Thomas Quinlivan, sen., and jockey HoNwmara. had been disqualified during pleasure. Th* aoiion of the Mount Somen and Springburn Sports Club, in disqualifying the mar* Gold Bangle, the owner w. J. Carleton, and rider S. J. CarUton, for six months for corrupt pmctioee, wa* endorsed.
