South Australia in their second innings made 13<5— Keednmn 42, Hack 41. Hopkins took thice wickets for 9, Howell five for 40, Mcßeth two for 54. Requiring a couple to win. Howell and Kelly opened the second innings for New South Wales, and before either had scored four extras were secured.
