An account of the trial at Home of a motor for agricultural purposes is of considerable interest in these days. A letter on cauoages for cows will ajford useful information to dairymen. Tin* speeches at the annual dinner at York of the Gimcrack Club provide lacing people with food for thought, and the. "Referee" has an article referring to matters of interest spoken of at the latest meeting of the Gimci&cks. The Wellington Racing Club has been in the pact considerably hampered by the encroachme-nte of the bookmakers on the Hutt Park Racecourse. The trustees of the Park have now framed regulations which should meet the case. Tdie new rules are dealt with in the leading columns, wherein will ba found some comment on the English racing statistics. The tour of Lord Hawke'.s beam and the tennis championship are dealt with in entertaining manner. The columns devoted to athletics, aquatics, and other sporte contain the usual full and. complete no tea on recent doinge.
