The German Budget shows a deficit ot eleven millions sterling, necessitating heavy loans. The deficit is officially attributed to the commercial and industrial depression. ARGENTINE PROHIBITION OF CATTLE IMPORTATION. BUENOS AYRES. January 12. A sanitary decree prohibits the importation of Australian cattle into the Argentine. Many other countries are similarly treated. A COAL TRAIN PILLAGED. NEW YORK, January 12. A coal train broke down ut Areola, Illinois. The inhabitants, who had been without coal for weeks, pillaged the train, threatening to lynch anyone who interfered with them.
