MINING NEWS.
The Reeves's Proprietery Company's dredge stopped on Saturday in order that the bushes on the bottom tumbler might be tightened. Work will probably be resumed this morning. The Buller Junction Company's dredge is *till being overhauled. The Tairua Broken Hill's return is £3706 from 850 tons of etoi;e. The fourth dividend declared by the Buller Junction Company, which was payable last Tuesday, and was at the rate of la per share, makes a total of 2s 6d per share returned to the shareholders. The master of the Greenstone Creek Company's dredge is still engaged effecting necessary repairs. The secretary received the following telegram, from him yesterday: —']The creek is in flood, and it is still raining."
