At the inquest on the bodies of Fredetich Parfiti and Janet Martin Kelly, drowned in the esi*__ry at R/verton on Thursday, the jury rsturcei a v«4ci of aocide_t_l drowning, tttachntg no blame to any person. Nash, the survivor, said that the sail had been lowered, and was lying «t_oDgside the boat. Ihe mast had been U—Stepped, but was not out of the hole in the thwart, when a puff of wind fißed the sail and *3m boat canted, the girls being thrown to leeward. All remained in Ihe boat till it turned over, and all had hold of each other in the water. He told Parfttt to ret him go, and he , dzd go. Nash then oxide for ths boat, the feel, turned it over, and got in. The others were then _ytn.gsjr_ng, but he could not do anything to nelp them. The owner of the boat said he gave Nash certain instructions when he gob the boat. The body of liihel Ross* the third victim, was recovered this morning. (PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAMS,) WELLINGTON, January 10. Frederick Field, a wharf labourer, was killed this morning when coaling th__Corh_thio. He fell and broke several ribs and injured his head, dying in the hospital shortly after. Hs leaves a wife and family. HAWERA, January 10." A trian named Alexander Peebles, of Normanby, was found on the road this morning, having met with a serious accident. He fell from a heavy waggon, which passed over one of his legs, crushing the bone above the knee. There is small hope of saving the leg. Peebles is the father of the boy who met his death at a shooting galkiy at Nonnaatry two vesn ago.
