Competition was very slack for all classes, and a good ma. ny lin&s were passed at auction, tlwugh a good clearance was made after tlie eale." An entry of 60 head of cattle met with keen competition, nearly every animal being sold at full market rates. Fat lambs made up to 14s 6d, stoic do lOd 3d to lls7d, fat ewes 12s 6d to 15s, 250 two-tooth wethers made 12s od, others lis 6d to 13s, two-tooth ewes 12s to 15s, ewes with lamb at foot 6s to 9s lOd.
