FEMININE DRESS.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. " Sir, —Perhaps you will think me oldfashioned in my views, but I hope you will see your way to air them. In my walks abroad (meaning the streets of our .Holy City), I am sometimes obliged, in spite of my near-sightedness, to observe tbe feminine dress of to-day. How can I describe it other than the height of indecency. Is it that our women are deteriorating, or do they only travel with the times? Could only some of the swaying forms behold themselves in their tightly-fitting garments, as exposed to the masculrne gaze and comment, I think they would be ashamed of their dress.—Yours, etc., AN OLD BACHELOR.
