SYDNEY, October 22.. 1 A lively meeting of the New South Wales Rifle Council has been held with regard to the Federal match. One section who favoured rejoining a selected team to compete on Monday, posted it on the official board, but the others tore it<bwn. Subsequently a violent altercation took place between several members. It is believed a team of some kind will fire as a protest.

The Association shooting concluded yesterday. Sergeant Keevers, of the First Regiment, won the Final Match with a score of 48. Spinley, who was sixth, wins £3.
