I allude to the 'present defective postal communication between this and Brighton, which amounts *to a positive nuisance, and entails considerable inconvenience to the commercial community, not to speak of the miners, who suffer most. In calling your attention to this subject I trust you will use your powerful influence in remedying the above anomalous state of thing*. Bv inserting the above you will confer, Mr Editor, a favor on the public, and an obligation on your?, Jlrc., Nemo. [Several complaints have reached us on this subject, and it is to be hoped that the authorities will lose no time in making arrangements which will remove the cause of communication. —Ed. P C.
