Wedding

STANIFORTH—CRUSE

A pretty wedding was solemnised recently when Valerie, third daughter of Mr and Mrs A. B. Cruse, Thornton, was married to Stanley, son of Mr and Mrs Staniforth, of Manchester, England..., The officiating minister was the Rev. T. Loten, the wedding music was played by Mrs Fraser.

The bride entered the Church on the arm of her father, wearing a beautiful gown of lace cut on formfilling lines to the waist with a full three tier skirt terminating in a long oval train. A row of covered button trimmed the back of the gown, and. long sleeves formed a point over each hand. Her embroidered tulle veil was worn with a halo of orange blossoms and she carried a fanshaped bouquet of white stock and delphiniums. She was attended by Miss Collins, of Auckland, as bridesmaid and June Newman, her niece, was flower girl. They wore pretty gowns of lemon net and carried bouquets of mauve stock and delphiniums. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Hayes, of Auckland, as best man.
