Although he fought out the finai, D. Baker, E. Hunt, K. Bowering, K. Kane, G. Jaram (cox), beat L. O. Stewart, G. Dines, R. Burt, S. Stubbs, K. Delahunty (cox) by a canvas. Final: Moore’s crew beat Baker’s by 3a lengths. Schoolboys’ race: R. Reid, B. Flay, P. Needham, A. Baker, N. Reid (cox) beat T. Reid, N. Palmes, B. Slipper, G. Stevenson, P. Lynds (cox) by two lengths.
