Hurt His Foot Gilbert Merrie, son of Mr W. Merrie, Taneatua, while playing at his home on Wednesday, slipped on a hoe cutting his foot necessitating his admission to hospital. Beacon Holidays The Beacon will not be published after Friday, December 22, until Wednesday, January 3. The office wil re-open for business on Tuesday, January 2.
