Rifle Contest For President’s Trophy
The Rangitaiki Rifle Club fired the final competition for the president’s trophy during the weekend. The conditions were the two best scores out of three competitions, Three men tied with the same score of 189. W. Moore was the winner on the count back as he had the highest score off the rifle. The next shoot will be held on December 17. Sc6res* R. Burgess 45 at 500, 43 at 600, handicap 10, total 95; P. McKay 43, 38, 14, 95; W. Moore 46, 41, 7, 94; L. Davies 48, 42, 4, 92; S. Pearse 44, 42, 6, 92; A. Moore 40, 47, 4, 91; P. Newton 46, 38, 5, 89; J. Nowland 43, 39, 4, 86.
