WHAKATANE BOROUGH COUNCIL BY-LAW No. 14, 1950 IN RESPECT OF ORDINARY BUILDING TIMBERS In exercise of the powers conferred on it by Part XXXII of the Municipal Corporations Act 1933 the Whakatane Boroiigh Council hereby makes, by way of Special Order a By-law under the Municipal Corporations Act 1933, and all other Acts amending the same, to amend the By-law of the said Council made and passed on the 12th day of April, 1937, and intituled “The Whakatane By-law No. 6, 1937.” The object and purport of the proposed By-law are to amend “The Whakatane Borough By-law No. 6, 1933,” in regard to* the use of treated and untreated ordinary building timbers. BY-LAW No. 15, 1950—CONTROL OF DOGS In exercise of the powers conferred on it by Part XXXII of the Municipal Corporations Act 1933, the Whakatane Borough Council hereby makes, by way of Special Order, a By-law under the Municipal Corporations Act 1933 and all other Acts amending the same, to amend the By-law of the said Council made and passed on the 13th day of February, 1939, and intituled “The Whakatane Borough By-law No. 7, 1939’.’ The object and purport of the proposed By-law are to amend “The Whakatane Borough By-law No. 7, 1939,” relating to the control of dogs, by adding thereto a clause incorporating the Centennial Park at the Heads, within the area of control of dogs. Notice is hereby given that at a Special meeting of the Vvffiakatane Borough Council, held on the 13th day of 1950, the aforesaid By-laws were passed and they will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Council, to be held on the 11th day of December, 1950, at 7.30 p.m. at the Council Chambers, Commerce Street, Whakatane. A full copy of the above By-laws is deposited at the office of the Whakatane Borough Council, Commerce Street, Whakatane, and are open for the inspection of the public during office hours until the said 11th day of December 1950.
