Institute Show

Entries for the annual show held by the Taneatua Women’s Institute on Saturday were not as good as former ye&rs but the quality was quite up to show standard according to the judges. The D. M. Grey Challenge Rose Bowl for most points was won by Mrs E. H. Hill. Mrs R. Ricketts, runner-up, won the W.D.F.F. The Goodhew Challenge trophy for most points in section VI and V and the points prize for the sewing section were both won by Mrs E. H. Hill. Mrs R. McGougan won the R. S. Ricketts trophy for most points in the decorative class and in the children’s section Bonnie Wilson and Alison Ewart tied for the points prize.
