Cup Donated For School Rowing

A cup for competition among school crews has been donated to the Whakatane Rowing Club by the club captain, Mr Bert Norman. This is the first season in which provision has been made for school rowing. Because of their reduced subscription, school boys are not able to take part in club competitions.

The cup will be competed for on the same system as in the club trial fours. Points scored during the season • will be recorded and the four top boys at the end of the season will hold the cup.
