Special Air Mail
The Post Office is arranging for a special air mail to be carried between- Christchurch and Sydney this month. It will be the first direct air mail between those cities, and the letters will bear- a cachet reading, “1850—Canterbury Centennial—l9so. First direct air mail Christchurch-Sydney.” The eachet will include the outline of a Constellation airliner, the type of plane which will carry the mail.
