Centenary Stamps
Stamps commemorating the Canterbury Centenary will be placed on sale at the Whakatane Post Office on Monday.
Tournaments: The ladies’ open tournament was held in September and the men held a two-day tournament in July and the usual Labour | Day three-day tournament in October. The weather was fine, the course in good order and the tournament a great success, it was reported at the annual meeting of the Whakatane Golf Club.
