At the Whakatane golf clubon Wednesday afternoon the retiring president of the ladies’ club, Mrs Otley, who had been on the committee continuously for about 15 years, was presented with a bouquet and a small gift. Mrs E. Armstrong, who made the presentation, said that Mrs Otley deserved a rest but all members would welcome her back as soon as possible.
