MORE SMOKE THAN FIRE
There was more smoke than fire when an Austin 7 car, driven by Mr W. Turner, stopped suddenly in the Strand at midday yesterday. Sufficient smoke poured from beneath the bonnet to startle passers by. An electrical short circuit caused the trouble.
