Mr C. R. Shipherd has arrived from Wellington as an addition to the staff of the Bank of New Zealand, Whakatane branch. Miss D. G. Henry, of the Whakatane Post Office staff, has been transferred to Wellington and will leave on November 14. Mr J. S. Lyall’s appointment to the staff of Whakatane High School has been confirmed by the Auckland Education Board,
