Delahunty (cox) beat P. O’Brien (str, T), G. K. Koea (3, Wh), B. Burt (2, Wh), J. Bowering (bow, Wh) Zinsli (cox) by 2 lengths. 2nd heat: G. Moore (str, Wh), M. Brown (3, Wh), Gilpin (2, T), Fitzsimmons (bow, Wh) Flay (cox) beat H. lies (str, T), E. Hunt (3, Wh), Hammond (2, T), T. Stewart (bow, Wh) Lynds (cox) by l\ lengths. 3rd heat: K. Bowering (str, Wh), G. Kiddie (3, T), G. Dines (2, ' Wh), Kane (bow, Wh),Reid (cox) beat D. Tinney (str, T), S. Shapley (3, Wh), R. Seebeck (2, Wh), G. Angus (bow, Wh) Delahunty (cox) by 3 length. 4th heat: P. Bowering (str, Wh), N. lies (3, T), F. Baker (2, Wh), K. Dines (bow, Wh) Zinsli (cox) beat M. Whittaker (str, Wh). Phillips (3, T), T. Hall (2, Wh), A. Atkinson (bow, Wh) Flay (cox) by 2 lengths. Semi-final: Stewart’s crew (Reid cox) beat Moore’s (Lynds cox) by h length. 2nd semi-final: P. Bowering’s crew (Delahunty cox) beat K. Bowering’s crew (Zinsh cox) by 1 length. The final resulted in a dead-heat between L. O. Stewart’s crew and P. Bowering’s. A sprint was re-row-ed, with another dead-heat as the result and trophies were donated to each crew.
