Tennis Matches Must Begin Early

All inter-club competition tennis matches under the control of the Bay of Plenty Tennis Association in the Bay of Plenty this season, must commence at 10.30 a.m. This had been decided, stated the chair* man, Mr P. R. Bryers, at a meeting of the Bay of Plenty Tennis Association held at Whakatane. The statement arose out of a complaint by a representative of a county club, who said' that country clubs often found it difficult to hold players when games were played late. Many sometimes had to get away to milk large herds.
