Report On Television In New Zealand Expected Soon

A preliminary report on the possibility of introducing television can be expected shortly. The annual report of the New Zealand Broadcasting Service tabled in .the House of Representatives states that a departmental committee was set up in July to advise the Minister of Broadcasting, Mr Doidge, on the development of television and on the problems involved in the establishment of a service.
