Children’s Ball Held At Poroporo School Saturday

A successful school fancy dress 'hall was held at Poroporo last Saturday evening. The costumes, many of which were devised by the children themselves made a colourful display and the judge, Mrs Ryde. had a difficult task selecting the prize winners. The children entertained a large crowd with folk dances and action songs until 10 o’clock when the floor was cleared for dancing. Prize winners were:— Best Costumes: Senior, T.
