' Messrs H. Brabant and Mitchell are representing the Whakatane Har bour Board at the conference of the Harbours’ Association of New Zealand.
Miss Val. Brown, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs E. Brown, Domain Road, returned to Hamilton toda;/ to recommence her duties at the Waikato Hospital.
Mr R. Abbott, of the Whakatane telephone exchange staff, has been appointed exchange supervisor at Te Puke and will take up his duties next Monday.
