Shooting Trophies Presented At High School

At the request of the Officer Commanding No. 2 Area, Mr J. B. Prince, attended the Whakatane High School Cadet Battalion parade on Tuesday last, and was presented by the headmaster with trophies won earlier in the year. As Senior Under Officer of the former District High School cadet unit he attended the Senior Cadet N.C.O. camp at Waiouru in January and was placed third in the individual shooting championship and was also a member of the winning team in the teams match.

The trophies consisted of brass shell cases suitably inscribed.
