The greatest number of rabbits destroyed, 300 was in the Mohaka district followed by 143 in inland Wairoa. Other totals were: Whakatane, nine; Wairoa, 30; Gisborne, 30. The report of the inspector in the Mohaka district, received at the board’s meeting on Friday stated that despite the number of kills last month there were many .rabbits in some parts of the district.
