Favourable Comments On Public Library
Favourable comments on the improvements at the Whakatane Public Library were made when it was re-opened on Monday. With new books, purchased by the Borough Council, added, in addition to those lent by the National Library Service, there was a good selection available for subscribers.
There was a steady demand throughout the hours of attendance, from old and new subscribers.
