A PROCLAMATION PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Gover-nor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a quarry and shall vest in the Whakatane Harbour Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of September; 1950.
