Condition Of Rail Crossings
The condition of crossings where the Board Mills railway crossed County roads was criticised by Cr L. W. Luxton at a meeting of- the Whakatane County Council yesterday. He referred particularly to the Eastern Boundary Road. The clerk, Mr C. G. Lucas, said he had twice written to the Board Mills on the subject. It was decided to write again. The chairman, Mr J. L. Burnett, said he thought the matter was receiving attention.
