FAVOURITE WINS LADIES ’ GOLF TOURNAMENT
As had been expected, Mrs J. R. Morris, of Auckland, who was run-ner-up last year, was declared the championship winner when the Whakatane Ladies’ Golf Club’s tournament ended on Friday. Mrs G. Symmans, of Whakatane, who seldom fails to the finals, was runner-up. Fine weather lasted for the full three days of the tournament.

Handicap Flight: Mrs Steedman, Tauranga. No. 1 Tournament: Mrs E. Sundgren, Rotorua. Runner-up: Mrs J. Wardlaw, Whakatane. No. 2 Tournament: Miss Beale, Poverty Bay.. Runner-up: Mrs N Cameron, Te Puke. No. 3 Tournament: Mrs X. Francis, Whakatane. Runner-up. Mrs O’Brien, Whakatane. Tournament Flight No. P Mrs Middleton, New Plymouth. Tournament Flight No. 2: Mrs W.
