The Mayor, Mr L. R. Wilkinson, was authorised at the monthly meeting of the Tauranga Borough Council to forward a copy of his report to the Licensing Commission to the Committee of Inquiry oh the site for a port for the Bay of Plenty. The Engineer, Mr C. W. Boak, and the Town Clerk, Mr K. H. Armstrong, were also authorised to attend the Whakatane hearing if it was open to the public.
