Watson is the Te Teko Golf Club’s senior champion, P. Clark holds the intermediate title and Hendl that for the juniors.
Watson beat Gardner on the 37th,' Clark won from Nation on the 33 rd and Hendl from C. Clark on the 36th. 0 , L. Hall won a medal round with a net 71. His handicap and Hendl’s are reduced by one. The best of two medal rounds to decide the Joyce Hay ter Cup first round will be played on Sunday. The draw is as follows: — Goodwin v Thomas, Gardner v Nation, Jamieson v L. B. Smith, Whiteley v Hendl, P. Clark v L. Hall, M. Hall v Balfour, Watson v Johnston, C. Clark v R. Patterson, D. Patterson v Latimer, A P. Smith v O’Brien, Caldwell v Craddock, Glen v Harris, Moulden v O’Sullivan, Burr v Knight, Hegh v Lennon, Lyons v Haultain, Cook v Hill, Macken v another.
