Confirmation Service Postponed
The death of the Bishop of Aotearoa, Rt. Rev. T. A. Bennett, has resulted in the postponement of the confirmation service which was to have been held at St, George’s Chrch, Whakatane, tonight. The service will be held on Sunday. Bishop Lesser, who will conduct the service, arrived in Whakatane last night and went to Rotorua today. He will return cn Sunday afternoon and will leave for Hawkes Eay on Monday.
