Plans For Future Growth Of Hospital At Whakatane
Plans for the future development of the Whakatane Public Hospital were received from the architect, Mr T. F. Haughey, at a Board meeting yesterday. The Board will consider them at its next meeting. - They include:— New ward block to the east of the women’s ward. New administration and clinical '.block. New maternity ward. Alterations and additions to the kitchen and operating theatre, as needed. Nurses’ home additions. Administration quarters. Porters’ quarters. An assistant medical superintendent’s residence. A stores building. Roacling and drainage.
