Mr G. Brabant, of Whakatane, who recently joined K-Force, has been selected for an officers’ training course at Trentham.

Commissioner H. D. Cobbe and Mrs Cobbe, of Hamilton, will be in Whakatane on Thursday for the annual meeting of the St John Ambulance Association.

Ron Jones, of Paroa, has been nominated to attend the world jamboree of boy scouts in Austria next year. The Bay of Plenty vAll send one scout and three others will compete with Jones for selection.
